The annual music festival returns to St. Augustine to celebrate live entertainment every weekend in September

St. Augustine is a rad place to live and visit, with beautiful waterways to explore — teeming with majestic nature and wildlife — pristine sandy beaches, and a historic downtown reminiscent of the old world. It also has an amazing cultural scene. For the ninth year in a row, St. Augustine will host one of the biggest music festivals in the Southeast, the Sing Out Loud Festival, where every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the month of September, live music and entertainment will be strewn all over town. From local musical acts to national headliners, Sing Out Loud brings together a unique blend of music and most of it is free.

Since 2016, Sing Out Loud has brought music to stages all over the Ancient City, and this year, venues include the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Sarbez!, Shanghai Nobby’s, Trade Winds Lounge, Spinster Abbott’s, Colonial Oak Music Park, Dog Rose Brewing Co. and Francis Field, which hosts the main stage: the Lively Wildly Showcase on Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st, 2025. And this year’s line-up is as impressive as recent years’ past:

Saturday, September 20, 2025 Lineup: Beabadoobee, Vance Joy, Father John Misty, Maren Morris, David Kushner and Sarah Kinsley. Sunday, September 21, 2025 Lineup: Hozier, The Teskey Brothers, Rilo Kiley, Gigi Perez, sombr and Brenn.

The Lively Wildly Showcase is the only for-sale ticketed event, with options including single-day and two-day General Admission (GA), General Admission Plus and Platinum tickets — and tickets are selling fast! The Saturday-only ticket is already sold out, but you can join a waitlist with a refundable deposit. Sunday GA starts at $205, and tickets and packages go up to $835. Plus and Platinum tickets include early entry, a dedicated viewing area, private lounge, enhanced restrooms and so much more. To secure your tickets for the big headliner weekend, head to www.axs.com/festivals.

But don’t stress, free events will be taking place all month long, including local artist showcases, artist development workshops and the St. Augustine Songwriters Festival, which will be hosted Friday, September 26th through Sunday, September 28th at Prohibition Kitchen, Colonial Oak Music Park, Tradewinds Lounge and the St. Augustine Distillery Co. Songwriters Fest takes you behind the scenes of some of your favorite songs, giving a spotlight to the writers who wrote them and the inspirations behind them. A few of the hit songwriters coming to town include Rodney Clawson, who has had songs recorded by George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Tim McGraw. He’s written 24 #1 hit songs, and was inducted into the Texas Songwriters Hall Of Fame. Jon Nite has had 18 #1 hit songs and 30 top country hits. He writes for Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Darius Rucker, among many more. Songwriters and schedules are still being announced, so keep tabs on their website for more information

While you’re enjoying tunes around town, make sure to check out local haunts for delicious eats and drinks. There are plenty of great places to grab a bite, including fresh seafood, exciting new fine dining and old school local establishments. And don’t forget to get out on the water with Florida Water Tours! It’s truly the best way to experience the real St. Augustine, with the salty breeze on your face and dolphins and manatees swimming in the wake. Hop on one of our most popular tours, the Dolphin & Wildlife Adventure, a true ecotour experience. You’ll see all the local wildlife, including dolphins, birds, turtles and more! For a more hands-on excursion, book our Marine Field Experience, where you get to be a marine biologist for the day, collecting and examining water samples and logging wildlife. Plus, ticket sales go directly to our nonprofit Florida Water Warriors to provide educational cruises to underserved students. And if you’re looking for something more relaxing and luxurious, try our Wine Tasting Cruise along St. Augustine’s bayfront, or the Moonlit Mysteries Tour, which takes you out on the water after sunset. Our expert guides use ancient navigation and narrate special celestial events, like shooting stars, full moons and planet alignments. Plus, they share the haunted tales of the oldest city. Spooky!
