We Are Looking For Crew Members!
Do you enjoy spending time out on the water? Would you like to see dolphins at work everyday? Florida Water Tours is looking to add new tour guides to our crew! We are looking for someone fun, personable with an interest in wildlife, science and the environment.
As a Tour Guide and First Mate on board you will be responsible for:
- Present historical and scientific information during tours in engaging and entertaining manner
- Answer questions and interact with customers
- Lead groups of students through scientific activities and experiments
- Handling lines while docking and undocking boat (Will train, previous experience preferred but not required)
- Must adhere to drug-free certification and random testing, as required by the US Coast Guard.
- First Aid certification will be offered; pre-existing CPR/1 st Aid or lifeguard certification a plus.
- Must be 18 and able to provide own transportation.
Requirements
- Public Speaking
- Customer Service Skills
- Interest in Wildlife/Environment
Preferred
- Previous experience as Tour guide
- Background in Environmental Science
- Experience working with kids
- Experience on boats
