What To Expect
The Intracoastal (ICW), or Tolomato/Matanzas River here in St. Augustine is home to a plethora of wildlife including birds, dolphins, manatees, turtles and much more. The dolphin that we see here year round call this bay their home. We regularly witness all types of behaviors like playing, hunting, breeding and caring for their young! This tour is considered a wildlife watch where we take you on a guided adventure to the best areas to view the most wildlife. Our professional guides are Marine Naturalists and make this a really fun and enjoyable experience for young kids AND adults while you learn about the natural beauty these Florida waters have to offer.
Although this is a wildlife tour, we do have a lot of history and famous landmarks here in St. Augustine! Sometimes the dolphin and other wildlife will bring us to the bay-front where we can view the historic landmarks from the water, but this is not the main part of this tour. We have other tours throughout the day where we focus on the history, plus being that it is still a water tour you get a chance to spot wildlife! Check out our History and Wildlife Tour or the Sunset Cruise BYOB if that is more your style.
